This 2003 Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG was sold on BaT in May 2022, and work since then included removing the exhaust resonators, repairing the power-retractible hardtop, and replacing the suspension hydraulic line, alternator, and tires. The car is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic over Charcoal leather, and power is provided by a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Further equipment includes 18″ AMG five-spoke alloy wheels, bi-xenon headlights, Keyless Go, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated multi-contour seats, a Bose sound system, and COMAND infotainment with navigation. Reacquired by the selling dealer in 2025, this SL55 AMG now has 76k miles and is offered at no reserve with partial service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.

The car is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) and features a body-color power-folding convertible hardtop. Additional details include bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, fender air vents, and AMG bodywork including a revised front spoiler, side skirts, and quad exhaust outlets. Work since 2022 involved repairing the left door handle, rebuilding the left trunk lid lift cylinder, and replacing the trunk latch, left door spindle, rear window gasket, and convertible top hydraulic cylinder along with the left microswitch and both locking tubular frames.

Silver-finished 18″ AMG wheels are mounted with 255/40 front and 285/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires showing a mixture of 2023 and 2024 date codes. The car features Active Body Control suspension as well as an Electronic Stability Program, Automatic Slip Control, and an AMG High Performance Braking System with cross-drilled rotors. The suspension hydraulic line was replaced in December 2023.

The heated and multi-contour AMG sport seats are upholstered in Charcoal leather, while wood veneer trim accents the center console and door panels. Amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, Keyless Go, a Bose sound system, and COMAND infotainment with navigation.

The multifunction leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 76k miles, approximately 30 of which have been added by the selling dealer.

The supercharged 5.4-liter M113 V8 was factory rated at 493 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. The alternator was replaced in September 2023, the oil was changed in May 2024, and the crankshaft position sensor was replaced in April 2025.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission with AMG SpeedShift programming and optional shifting via steering wheel-mounted buttons. The exhaust resonators were removed in March 2023.

The Carfax report is free of any accidents or other reported damage.
